A communications bar boasts an enhanced camera option that enables AI Computer-Vision technology including always-on user detection, attention-tracking for smart power management, and zero-touch login. Plus, the X13s will recognize you even with a facemask or a haircut. Additionally, digital wellness features include posture and screen-time awareness, as well as vision-health notifications.

The ThinkPad X13s is built to secure your data and business. Pluton, a security processor that’s embedded in the CPU helps to eliminate exposure to threats and prevent physical attacks. This new chip-to-cloud security technology is the result of a partnership between Microsoft and Qualcomm® Technologies that works in conjunction with data encryption and biometric safeguards.Plus, ThinkShield hardware and software protection with integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM), the added security of Windows 11 Secured-Core PC, and the Microsoft Pluton security architecture deliver protection from every angle.
Robust app ecosystem
Collaborating with Microsoft and Qualcomm® Technologies, we’re working to create a large portfolio of independent software vendor (ISV) certified, top-tier applications for native compatibility on Windows on Snapdragon® (WoS). These industry-leading apps cross several categories, including browsers and productivity, collaboration and virtual meetings, security for data and device, network access, and virtualization.
Gentler on the environment
The Snapdragon® 8cx Gen 3 Compute Platform and sealed, fan-free design of the ThinkPad X13s laptop minimizes heat ventilation into the environment. What’s more, the chassis is made from 90% recycled magnesium, while post-consumer content (PCC) plastic is used for the battery pack (30%), the speaker enclosure (97%), and the AC adapter (90%). Count on ThinkPad every time
We use the US Department of Defense’s MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkPad laptops. We test against 12 standards and more than 200 quality checks to ensure they run in extreme conditions. These tests cover harsh variables like Arctic wilderness and desert dust storms, including temperature, pressure, humidity, vibration, and more.
